Devotional Thoughts:
It’s a blessing this morning to know that God sees far beyond what we can see today. The Lord sees the potential we have in him to fulfill his vision and plans. We only see what the mirror of life shows us, a reflection of our present state. But God is so good he sees the great potential we have! He sees our future when we only see our present. It’s for this reason that we must understand that even though we do not see everything fulfilled in our lives, their exists a seed of potential in our lives that we have not yet discovered.
Before God we have a great potential to fulfill the vision god has given us. We cannot underestimate the potential we have in God. It’s been said that the greatest tragedy in life is not death, but life, a life that failed at fulfilling its potential. Can you see the potential God has placed whithin you? Let’s not make the mistake of not developing our potential in The Lord this morning. It’s necessary to take responsibility and intentionally grow the potential God has given us. The truth is that today there are cemeteries full of great men and women that never became great because they did not take on this responsibility
We must examine ourselves today and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal day by day the great potential we have to fulfill the vision that God has given us. We realize that potential on its own doesn’t produce anything. It’s like dynamite; the only way it causes an effect is if you light the wick! Let us pray that the Holy Spirit may light the wick of our potential so that together we may fulfill His potential in us. Understanding that growth could only come when we fulfill our potencial.

I thank God for his mercy and love and how patient he is sometimes with us, that we fall short of his glory but he is still willing to work with us. I pray that God may continue his work in us day to day, till we see our full potential. Thank you for the word.
Many times in our human nature all we see is the here and now, our present condition. But praise the Lord that our God is so great, he not only sees who we are now but he sees who we could be! Who he made us to be! Lord let me be all that you have called me to be. Let me see myself in your prespective.
