Thoughts Of Devotion:

Faith is essential if we are to conquer all that God wants to do in our lives in the year 2020. The writer to the Hebrews reminds us that the great men of the Bible used faith as a weapon to conquer and take possession of the promises of God. Faith always makes the difference between defeats and victories, between advance or delay, between those who stand firm and those that fall under the darts of the enemy. In Ephesians 6:16 it says, “above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.”

Our faith is a shield, a defense and protection against the fiery darts of the enemy. It doesn’t matter all the darts that the enemy throws at us, it is our responsibility to raise our shield of faith and bring them down! Only then can we destroy all that the enemy tosses at our lives on the battlefield. It is when we affirm our faith, and not moved by circumstances that we can declare Psalm 144: 2 “My lovingkindness and my fortress, My high tower and my deliverer, My shield and the One in whom I take refuge, Who subdues my people under me.”

Don’t be dismayed today when the battle intensifies and increases for your conquest. God has already given you the weapon of faith to take possession of what belongs to you! His plan is conquest and victory, as Psalm 144:10 tells us. “The One who gives salvation to kings, Who delivers David His servant From the deadly sword.” He will rid you of all your battles and grant you a complete conquest over the enemy. Only stand firm and do not allow doubt and fear to paralyze you. Glorious and full days of fruit in our lives are coming, milk and honey will distill our lives! We will see the fruit of our conquests and battles, we will believe God and we shall not be moved in the name of the Lord. Blessings!
