Thoughts of Devotion:

This morning we have the privilege of having a Heavenly Father in heaven. A loving father who really cares about each  one of our needs, there is no big or small request for Him! God takes care of us, he has a sincere interest and care for our well-being, for this reason he tells us to ask, seek and call! Even in Mark 11:24 he tells us, “Therefore, I tell you that whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you will receive it, and it will come to you.”

Prayer is a demonstration of trust and faith we have in God. Others may not believe in the power of prayer, but we know that it is a door to receive what we need. We approach our Father presenting our need trusting that he not only hears us, but also responds to our cry! In John 14: 13–14 he tells us, “And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.” What a blessing, what promise we have from the Lord in prayer, he tells us, just trust and I will do it!

In this morning do not miss the opportunity, and the great privilege of having what you need so much. You have a Father in heaven who wants to hear your needs and supply each one of them. In Psalm 145: 18–19 he tells us, “The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth. 19  He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He also will hear their cry and save them.” All it takes is to approach him, take your time daily and spend time in His presence. It is closer than you can imagine. Just take a step of faith and believe that God will intervene in your situation, if you only ask him!
