Topic: A Fruitful Life is A Result Of Intimacy With Him.
Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.
John 15:4 (NKJV)
Plan To Read The Bible
Versiones De La Biblia:
John 15:4 (NLT) — 4 Remain in me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful unless you remain in me.
John 15:4 (NIV) — 4 Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.
John 15:4 (MSG) — 4 “Live in me. Make your home in me just as I do in you. In the same way that a branch can’t bear grapes by itself but only by being joined to the vine, you can’t bear fruit unless you are joined with me.
In this Scripture the Lord reminds us once more of the importance of abiding in Him, being those branches that are directly connected to the vine. The Lord teaches us that, only in this way a permanent and lasting fruit will be produced! What a real model, the branch has no life without the life the vine brings. Without the Lord there is no possibility that we will have a lasting fruit. Only remaining in an intimate and real relationship is that we will experience fruit, as John 15:5 promises, “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.”
Let us imagine for a moment a Christian life where we are able to produce much fruit for the Lord. A season where we would produce abundant fruit in the work of the Lord! How many of us wouldn’t want this? As believers who wouldn’t desire to see a fruitful ministry? God desires that this year we would be able to produce abundant fruit like we have never seen in our walk with Him before. Like Matthew 13:8 tells us, “But others fell on good ground and yielded a crop: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.” We will be those that will give a hundredfold!
All it will take is to abide in Him. There is no other way! There are no short cuts… everything will bring us back to his feet and to the secret place of his dwelling. It is necessary to invest the most time possible in prayer, fasting and his Word. We must do everything possible to be in the presence of the Lord. In that secret place, the place where we will receive nourishment, strength and vision to fulfill the challenges that would present themselves in our Christian walk.
I strongly believe that this summer will be a time where we will see abundant fruit like we have never seen before. This is our time! All it will take from us is to be those branches that are well connected to the vine that is Christ.
John 15:5 (NKJV) — 5 I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.
Colossians 1:6 (NKJV) — 6 which has come to you, as it has also in all the world, and is bringing forth fruit, as it is also among you since the day you heard and knew the grace of God in truth;
John 6:68–69 (NKJV) — 68 But Simon Peter answered Him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. 69 Also we have come to believe and know that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
Hebrews 10:39 (NKJV) — 39 But we are not of those who draw back to perdition, but of those who believe to the saving of the soul.
John 8:31 (NKJV) — 31 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed.
