DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
On this day is important to recognize that God has his chosen instruments, those men and women who have given their lives to be used by Him. An example of this is the Apostle Paul; he was a man who gave himself completely to God’s destiny for your life. He recognized that he was a man chosen and set apart by God, as stated in Galatians 1:15, “But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb, and called me by his grace.” For the Apostle Paul the call to ministry was not just a coincidence, it was a belief that burned in his heart!
God had chosen Paul, selected him for a greater purpose. His life would be a great impact; he would influence a whole generation! Paul would be used to present the gospel message to kings and people of different nations. Not only the Jews, but to the whole Gentile world! Paul continually recognized that it was Jesus Christ who had chosen him, in 1 Timothy 1:12 declares, “I thank you strengthened me, Christ Jesus our Lord, because He counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry.” Paul would not let nothing and no one stop him from fulfilling God’s purpose for his life; he recognized that it was God who had placed him in the ministry!
This morning God wants to consecrate us to the work of the ministry. We were chosen before the foundation of the world to be His instruments here in this world. Do not forget that there is a mission; there is a vision to carry out! We are of great value when we put ourselves in His hands, only because of Him we are useful tools, such as 1 Corinthians 15:10 declares, “but by the grace of God I am what I am; and grace has not been in vain for me, I worked harder than all of them; yet not I, but the grace of God with me. “We must give our lives, and let God use us to our full potential!

1 Corinthians 15:10 (NKJV) “But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.”
What a statement The Apostel Paul made. He recognized who God was in His life, the call of God upon his life, (that he was a chosen inatrument) and that all that he accomplished was only was because of Gods grace.
I pray that I am able to be an instrument God can continually use for His purposes.
