Write The Vision And Make It Plain On Tablets

Topic: We Must Run With The Vision.

Then the  Lord  answered me and said: “Write the vision And make  it  plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. For  the vision  is  yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will  not lie. Though it tarries,  wait for it; Because it will  surely come, It will not tarry.

Habakkuk 2:2-3 (NKJV)

Vision inspires God’s people to answer God’s call and commit to it because it is our driving force. We believe in the people, that they have potential and love for God.

Bible In A Year Reading Plan 2018

Numbers 1-2

Bible Versions:

Habakkuk 2:2–3 (MSG) — And then God answered: “Write this. Write what you see. Write it out in big block letters so that it can be read on the run. This vision-message is a witness pointing to what’s coming. It aches for the coming—it can hardly wait! And it doesn’t lie. If it seems slow in coming, wait. It’s on its way. It will come right on time.

Habakkuk 2:2–3 (NIV) — Then the  Lord  replied: “Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald  may run with it.    For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it  will certainly come and will not delay.

Habacuc 2:2–3 (NLT) — Then the Lord  said to me, “Write my answer plainly on tablets, so that a runner can carry the correct message to others. This vision is for a future time. It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled. If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently, for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed.

Devotional Thoughts:

This morning we will be seeing a very important principle and value that we all must have anchored and founded in our lives. Victory Outreach International believes in the importance of every believer being envisioned towards the direction and plans that God has for their lives. This is of great importance due to scripture warning us that without vision the people perish (Proverbs 29:11). Vision does something within us, it motivates us and gives us a purpose for living. When you have vision, you have a fixed direction towards where we should be heading in the future.

Our ministry of Victory Outreach International is a visionary ministry. God first gave the vision to our founding Pastors Sonny and Julie Arguinzoni more than 50 years ago. This vision has now expanded all over the world and has impacted hundreds of thousands of people. Today this vision is our vision, it has turned into our personal vision. God has implanted it in our hearts, so we can continue with the legacy and the mission God has commissioned us with. But, remember that this vision requires commitment and surrender! This morning God is looking for people that can commit to the vision, so it comes to pass. We have been called to run with this vision and take it to the ends of the earth.

I ask myself, how can the vision of Victory Outreach be described? How is it that one comes to better understand this vision? Through Our Mission Statement. The Mission Statement says, “Victory Outreach is an international, church-oriented Christian ministry called to the task of evangelizing and discipling the hurting people of the world, with the message of hope and plan of Jesus Christ. This call involves a commitment to plant and develop churches, rehabilitation homes and training centers, in strategic cities of the world. Victory Outreach inspires and instills whithin people the desire to fulfill their potential in life with a sense of dignity, belonging, and destiny. Victory Outreach works cooperatively with others of mutual purpose in accomplishing the task before us.

Let us pray this morning that we may run every day with the vision God has given us as members of Victory Outreach International. May the Mission Statement become our personal mission! The we may be those that when we read the vision we may run with it. Never forget that Victory Outreach is a visionary ministry, which is why we should have the vision implanted in our hearts. Today we should thank The Lord for the vision that he has given us, what a blessing to be able to say, “I Am Victory Outreach”, to be a part of an international ministry that is impacting the whole world for Christ.

Foundational Scriptures:

Psalms 27:14 (NKJV) — Wait on the  Lord ; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the  Lord !

Isaiah 55:11 (NKJV) — So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall  prosper  in    the    thing  for which I sent it.

Hebrews 10:37 (NKJV) — “For  yet a little while, And    He    who is coming will come and will not  tarry.
