Plan To Read The Entire Bible In 2018
Hebrews 10:19 (NIV) – 19 Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus,
Hebrews 10:19 (MSG) – 19-21 So, friends, we can now—without hesitation—walk right up to God, into “the Holy Place.” Jesus has cleared the way by the blood of his sacrifice,
Hebrews 10:19 (NLT) – 19 And so, dear brothers and sisters,[a] we can boldly enter heaven’s Most Holy Place because of the blood of Jesus.
Thoughts of Devotion:
This morning through the sacrifice of Jesus on the Cross we can enter the presence of God in prayer, and be able to bring our needs before his presence! It is the blood of Jesus that has opened the way for us to enter his throne in prayer and supplication. In Hebrews 10:22 he tells us, “let us enter directly into the presence of God with a sincere heart and with full confidence in him. For our guilty conscience has been sprinkled with the blood of Christ in order to purify us, and our body has been washed with pure water.” We can enter with confidence and assurance into his presence, this is a great privilege that we have as believers.
Today we can approach the throne of God at all times without fear or tremble, through the blood of Jesus Christ! Through his sacrifice he opened the way, paid the price and removed all obstacles for us to enjoy an intimate communion with the Father in prayer. We have Jesus as our great and high priest who has opened the way, as it states in Hebrews 4:14-15 tells us, “Therefore, having a great high priest who has pierced the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us keep our profession .15 For we do not have a high priest who can not sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who was tempted in all things according to our likeness, but without sin. “
The road is already there, the veil has already been removed, all we have to do is to enter before the throne of God! Let us not waste this great privilege, this great opportunity to enjoy the presence of God in our lives. Do not let the enemy condemn us, or lie to us saying that we do not have the great privilege of entering the throne of God. In 1 John 2: 1-2 he tells us, “My little children, these things I write to you so that you do not sin; and if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. And he is the propitiation for our sins; and not only for ours, but also for those of the whole world.”
We are grateful for Jesus, thanks to his death on the Cross, today we live in communion with the Father! Amen.
Ephesians 3:12n (NKJV) – 12 in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him.
Hebrews 9:12 (NKJV) – 12 Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption.
Hebrews 7:25 (NKJV) – 25 Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.
1 John 2:1-2 (NKJV) – 2 My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. 2 And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.
Revelation 12:11(NKJV) – 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.
Hebrews 7:23-25 (NKJV) – 23 Also there were many priests, because they were prevented by death from continuing. 24 But He, because He continues forever, has an unchangeable priesthood. 25 Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.
Hebrews 4:14-15 (NKJV) – 14 Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. 15 For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.
