We have a responsibility to build our spiritual life. As individuals, we must strengthen and build a solid foundation in the Lord. This is so important, so vital to be built in the faith, and not fluctuate or be moved by so many things. Ephesians 4:14 states, ” that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting,” We are living in times where there are many winds, so many things that can distract us from the task of building the most important, our spiritual life!
Today we must seek to be well grounded, well planted in the Lord. The Word of God promises us that we will be planted in His house.
Psalms 1: 3 H He shall be like a tree, Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.
Psalms 92: 13-14 Those who are planted in the house of the Lord, Shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bear fruit in old age; They shall be fresh and flourishing,
This is what we should seek and prioritize to build strong and firm spiritual lives! If we do not do it, nobody can do it for us. Let us understand that it is not the responsibility of anyone else, but of us to build!
If we really try and are willing; the Holy Spirit will do the rest! In 1 Peter 5:10 it says, “But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.” The work of the Holy Spirit in us is who sustains and establishes us. The only thing we must do is yield to him so He himself does the work! The Holy Spirit wants us to be strong and stable in the work of ministry. This morning it is time to focus on the thing that build us, the things that will help us in our spiritual growth and development.
Colossians 1:23New King James Version (NKJV) 23 if indeed you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard, which was preached to every creature under heaven, of which I, Paul, became a minister.

Jeremiah 17:8New King James Version (NKJV)-8 For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.
Ephesians 2:21-22NKJV)-21 in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, 22 in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.
