Thoughts of Devotion:
One of the things we must do to face our future is trust that God has everything in his hands! The Lord invites us this morning to trust and have faith in his direction for our lives.
We will all, sooner or later, in our walk with the Lord, will have to go through a critical moment where we have to decide if we are really going to trust the Lord, and in his ways.
The path and direction that God gives each of us will not be easy, we will be tempted many times to take the shortest or least difficult way. We will ask, why follow the path in front of me? It is very hard and difficult!
It is in this moment that we must trust in the Lord! Our lives are safe in the path that God has placed in our future. In his will there is security, provision and blessings for our lives, but only if we remain in his ways will God do it!
The word entrusted means, “a task that is commissioned from one person to another.” It is the decisive moment we decide to give everything to the Lord and entrust our entire life, family, work and possessions, for His control and direction.
The Lord never fails; He is always faithful to our lives. There is no reason why we should lean on our own understanding, ” Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.”(Proverbs 3: 5-6)
Today wholeheartedly we can put our faith and trust in the Lord! He promises to fulfill the deepest desires of our heart. If we entrust our way and trust Him, He will undoubtedly help us in any situation we face. His strength and help will be manifested a real and tangible way in our journey.
The things that tried to overwhelm our day will not! Because our trust in God will produce a security in God and His joy will flood us.
Let us pray, that we may take the invitation the Lord makes us to trust and rely on Him every day of our lives. Never forget that He will act on our behalf, our best days are in the future! Amen.
