And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself.”
(John 12:32 NKJV)
Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
(Philippians 2:9-11 NKJV)
Philippians 2:9–11 (MSG) — Because of that obedience, God lifted him high and honored him far beyond anyone or anything, ever, so that all created beings in heaven and on earth—even those long ago dead and buried—will bow in worship before this Jesus Christ, and call out in praise that he is the Master of all, to the glorious honor of God the Father.
Philippians 2:9–11 (NIV) — Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Thoughts Of Devotion:
Scripture calls us to live a life where Christ is worshiped and lifted on high. As believers we are called to give and render all glory and honor to our Lord that only he deserves. Only He is worthy of receiving all glory and honor! The Bible teaches us that if “Christ be lifted up from the earth, he would draw all men unto him”. We understand that this happened when he was crucified, but this exaltation extends until today and for an eternity. God the Father has given him the highest honor and the most excellent name!
When we exalt Christ in our life, the result is that we experience God’s presence daily with us. There’s something powerful that happens when we practice these principles: worship, praise, fasting, reading of the Word. When we practice this regularly, God’s presence becomes more tangible and real in our lives. It’s when we live a life that worship’s Christ that we experience a genuine and lasting transformation. There’s nothing that compares to living a life filled with God’s presence! It’s unique and special; it’s another level of living, an abundant life. God desires for this year 2017 we may achieve going to another level in our spiritual life. That we may develop a disciplined life of worship and praise.
We were created to worship Christ in our daily living. As Philippians 1:21 says, “For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain”. That we may exalt him through our walk and conduct as we walk through our journey here on earth. That he may always be number one in our lives. May no one or anything take the place that belongs to Him alone. Let us pray that this value and principle may be grounded and planted in our daily living.

Isaiah 9:7 (NKJV) — 7 Of the increase of His government and peace There will be no end, Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, To order it and establish it with judgment and justice From that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.
Psalms 91:14 (NKJV) — 14 “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name.
He shall be exalted and extolled and be very high.
Daniel 7:14 (NKJV) — 14 Then to Him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, That all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion, Which shall not pass away, And His kingdom the one Which shall not be destroyed.
