Isaiah 43:26-28 (MSG)-26 “So, make your case against me. Let’s have this out. Make your arguments. Prove you’re in the right.
God through His Word has given us many promises. In 2 Peter 1: 4 we are told, “by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” Surely for every situation we face, God has a promise for us! His Word is full of guaranteed promises that must encourage us, and strengthen us in all the difficulties and situations we face.
God says in his word, “remind me” or declare what I have said to your life, or situation, do not focus on your problem, focus on my promise! We must understand that prayer is more than just declaring our problems before God, but it is also remembering His promises! This is what many men of God had to learn to do when faced with adversity, including Jacob, when he said in Genesis 32:12 “For You said, ‘I will surely treat you well, and make your descendants as the sand of the sea, which cannot be numbered for multitude.” He was reminding Him of his promise in the midst of his problem and challenge!
This morning the Word of God has a promise for every need we have in life. We must remember what God has said and remind Him of His promises. This is one of the most powerful ways to pray. When we pray by reminding God of what He has said, those words strengthen our soul, our faith is affirmed and then God activates His response. When our prayer is founded on His promises, then God will be faithful to answer our cry and petition. Remember that it is our FAITH that moves the hand of God, not our problem or concern! Faith in His promises, Faith in His Word as Romans 10:17 tells us, ” So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God..”

Job 23:3-6New King James Version (NKJV)- 3 Oh, that I knew where I might find Him, That I might come to His seat! 4 I would present my case before Him, And fill my mouth with arguments. 5 I would know the words, which He would answer me, And understand what He would say to me. 6 Would He contend with me in His great power? No! But He would take note of me.
