Thoughts Of Devotion:
Today the heart of God is towards a lost and hopeless humanity. To reach the lost should be one of the principles and values that as believers we must have established and rooted in our hearts. We have the calling to reach the treasures out of darkness with the message of the gospel. Today we are called to the task of evangelizing and discipling the lost and hopeless people in this world. We must recognize the great challenge and urgent task that God has commissioned us with, now more than ever we must respond to the task!
It’s important to understand that God’s heart beats for those that are hurting and find themselves in need. God desires for no one to be lost, but that all may come to repentance. God’s plan for humanity is his salvation, there is no other plan, and the plan continues to be the same, seek and save that which was lost! We have the responsibility on behalf of God to take the Gospel to the ends of the Earth. This is accomplished only when we are consumed with a passion, urgency, and determination to see God’s love reach the humanity that is lost and without hope.
May our prayer may be to fulfill this mandate. That the love of God may move and mobilize us the fulfill Gods mission for humanity. As his word says, “For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; (II Corinthians 5:14). This morning may the love of God posses us! That His love in us may take us to see people saved and restored. We know as believers we are called to a great task and mission. We are all called to fulfill the task of reaching the hidden treasures. This is our time!
