In this portion of Scripture we see how the miracle of provision was going to take place. The process of seeing the miracle was going to require action from the widow. She could not stay in her mentality of impossibility or defeat. She had to expand her level of faith and expectation! God’s instruction was very clear, go and get as many jugs as you can. The prophet besides this told her, be sure they are not few! Do not limit the miracle God wants to do in the midst of your crisis. According to your level of faith and expectation it will be done.
This situation reminds me of Jesus’ words in Matthew 9: 29-30, ” Then He touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith let it be to you.”30 And their eyes were opened. … “Here we see that it was not what Jesus could do, since He is all-powerful! But on the contrary it was according to the level of faith and expectation of the blind men, who came to Jesus anticipating and receiving their miracle of healing. Today we must understand that the miracle of provision begins when our level of expectancy and faith grows.
We must understand that God has no limits, he is not thinking little; He is a God of abundance! In the world of faith, there are no limits, impossibilities or littleness. The promise of Jesus to us is a life in abundance. In John 10:10 it tells us, ” The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly” Sometimes we may be limiting the great things that God wants to do, for lack of faith and expectation in what God has already promised us! It is time to push the limits into everything the Lord wants to do in 2017. It is time to break the mold, to go, to another level of faith and expectation. Amen!

But now you will strike Syria only three times.”
