Devotional Thoughts:

To be successful in our lives and ministries we need the help of the Holy Spirit. There is no way to really know success and true victory without Him! Only with a divine strategy, that is given by the Holy Spirit, when we spend time alone in intimacy can we be able to experience all that God has for us in 2017. In Psalm 144: 1 tells us, ” Blessed be the Lord my Rock, Who trains my hands for war, And my fingers for battle.” Only God can train our hands for the battle in any war that we may face. It is the great power of the Holy Spirit that gives us confidence to face all opposition the enemy may throw at us.

The Holy Spirit prepares us to face the mountains of opposition that wish to hinder the Lord’s destiny in our lives. We must understand that opposition will be present in everything we do in 2017. This is why the Holy Spirit is the only one that can give us the weapons we need to defeat the enemy. In 2 Corinthians 10: 4 it says, “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds.” Thank God that our weapons are not the creation of the human mind, but are given by the Spirit. Remember that it will never be with a great human army, or personal strength, but only by his Spirit!

The dependence on the strategy of the Holy Spirit is of utmost importance, and indispensable. Our strength and power is in the Lord! In Ephesians 6: 10-11 it reminds us of this, “Be strong, my brethren, in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. “Today is necessary to put on the Armor of God, strengthening us in spiritual power. The Holy Spirit has a strategy for your battle; he wants to train your hands for war. It is time to depend on His spiritual weapons of war.
