Devotional Thought
The Holy Spirit offers us a special invitation today. He invites us to come boldly to the throne of grace. His promise is secure; he will always be within our reach to help us! All it takes is that we approach the throne of grace. Each day He waits for us to seek Him in the midst of our need and problems. There is no reason to run anywhere else, only to the Lord! His promise to those who depend on Him is, “Before they cry, I will answer; While they still speak, I have heard “(Isaiah 65:24).

What a blessing it is to have someone to run and take refuge in this morning. Having a full confidence in approaching God in times of need, is a great privilege. Regardless of whether it is day or night, at all times we have access to the help of the Holy Spirit for our situation. Scripture continually  invites us to depend completely on Him! At every moment and in every need the Holy Spirit is there for us; His grace is available to help us and work in our behalf. He will not leave us, Psalm 9:10, declares, “they that know thy name shall trust in thee: for thou, O LORD, hast not forsaken them that sought thee.”

I wonder, who else can we trust? Who can we depend on during times of great trial? The answer over the years remains the same, God alone! He offers us His mercy and His grace to face every difficult situation in our walk with Him. It only takes us to approach the Holy Spirit without reservations sincerely and with confidence. If we do so, we find the help we need. Never forget that those who depend on Him will never be ashamed! His grace will sustain us through what we are going through. Let us pray that we never leave our dependence on God, to depend on others. Lets recall what the Bible tells us, “These trust in chariots, and those in horses; But we will remember the name of the Lord our God “(Psalm 20: 7).

Topic Fundamental Scriptures:

Deuteronomy 8:3 (NKJV)-So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord.

Psalm 9:10 (NKJV)-10 And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; For You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You.

Psalm 20:7 (NKJV)-Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember the name of the Lord our God.

Hebrews 13:6 (NKJV)-So we may boldly say: “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?”

Isaiah 65:24 (NKJV)-24 “It shall come to pass That before they call, I will answer; And while they are still speaking, I will hear.
