Thoughts of Devotion:
The Lord invites us this morning to trust and have faith in Him. This is a decision we all must make in our walk with God, whether to believe or doubt? The invitation before us is for all those who face opposition and difficulties. No is no need to fall in despair, there is a way out! All you have to do is decide to take the invitation of faith. No reason why we should stay in a state of doubt and indecision. He is our strength, as Isaiah 26:4 says, “Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord God is the eternal Rock.”
The Lord never fails, he will always be faithful to our lives. No reason why we should lean on our own understanding, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths “(Proverbs 3:5-6) We can whole heartily put our faith and trust in the Lord! He promises to fulfill the deepest desires of our hearts. If we commit our way and trust Him, surely He will help us in any situation we face. His strength and help will manifest in a real and palpable way in our walk.
When we take the invitation of faith we will have the joy of the Lord in our lives. We will be able to delight in the Lord and enjoy his peace and security. We will know God in an intimate and real way! The things that tried to overwhelm or burden our day, will not be able to! Because our trust in God will produce a security in God and his joy will flood us. Let us pray this morning that we take God’s invitation for us to trust and depend on him every day of our lives. We are a blessed people, we can live in security and prosperity. Let us just decide to rejoice and delight in God on this day!
