John 3:34 (NIV) ─34 For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God[a] gives the Spirit without limit.
God gives His Spirit without limit! This is what His Word says to all those that have the Holy Spirit living in us. Understand that in the spiritual language, words like “little, petty, limited and scarce” do not exist. On the contrary, his promise tells us in Ephesians 1:3, ” Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.” There is fullness of life and power in the person of the Holy Spirit! The road to spiritual abundace is now open for all those who long to have the fullness of the Spirit in us.
There is no drought or spiritual dryness when we enjoy an intimate and personal communion with the Holy Spirit. He wants to fill us completely, to an overflowing of his glory! This is why Ephesians 5:18 tells us, “And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit.” God’s invitation is, “come and be filled to be drunk in His presence! The truth is that there is nothing that compares to the filling of the Holy Spirit in our lives. It is a unique and special experience, when his glory and presence fills us completely.
I wonder how many really want a flood of the presence of the Holy Spirit in us? How good it would be if we all had that passion for the Holy Spirit. This is true, that when this happens we will stay full and satisfied in God. We will have no appetite for what the world offers us. Our only thirst and hunger will be for more of Him! Pray that today we empty ourselves of all that is not pleasing to the Lord, and yield our lives completely to the Holy Spirit. That He will fill our whole person, that our hearts will be overflowing with His glory!
Luke 4:18 (NKJV) ─18 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed;
