Thoughts of devotion:
One of the reasons why we can stand firm and strong in our Christian walk is because of the great help that the Holy Spirit offers us as believers. It is the Holy Spirit that will make the difference between the firm believer and the weak! It is only through its fruit of faithfulness in us that we are planted and firm in our Christian life. We must become like the blessed man of Psalm 1: 3, 3″ He shall be like a treePlanted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper..”
Today we run the risk of slipping from our firmness and constancy in our Christian walk. There are so many things that come against us to try to weaken our strength in the Lord. If anything the enemy wants to do is assault us with his fiery darts so that we lose our faith. In Ephesians 6:13 it tells us, “13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand..” It is only through the Holy Spirit that we can stand firm of the trials and attacks that come to us.
Today there is no reason why we should lose our faith and perseverance in the Lord. In 1 Corinthians 15:58 we are encouraged and encouraged to remain steadfast in the work and work of the Lord, “58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. “It is only the power and strength of the Spirit that can enable us to remain faithful. The fruit of faithfulness is evident in those who have the fullness of the Holy Spirit in our lives.

2 Thessalonians 2:3 (NKJV) 3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition,
Acts 20:24 (NKJV) 24 But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.
1 Corinthians 15:58 (NKJV) 58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

Phillipians 1:27 (NKJV) 27 Only let your conduct be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of your affairs, that you stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel,
