We Must Cultivate And Exercise Another Dimension Of Faith In Everything We Do, Faith Brought Us This Far, And Faith Will Take Us To The End!
while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
2 Corinthians 4:18
By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured as seeing Him who is invisible.”
Daily Reading Plan
2 Corinthians 4:18 (NIV) — 18 “So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”
Hebrews 11:27 (NIV) — 27 “By faith he left Egypt, not fearing the king’s anger; he persevered because he saw him who is invisible.”
Development Of The Leadership Principle:
In ministry leaders with another dimension of faith are required!
I ask you, what are you seeing today in your life, ministry, or calling? What are your eyes fixed on?
Our natural view only sees the present situation, what the natural eye perceives as 2 Corinthians 4:18 tells us, “not at the things which are seen, but on what is unseen For what is seen is temporary, but which are not seen are eternal. “
Our walk with God is not based on what is seen, but only eternal things which are seen with the eyes of faith.
To be effective and outstanding leaders we have to grow in faith … nothing will be done without faith!
Every great man of God had to face situations where God demanded him to walk in faith and trust, even when you cannot see anything!
Moments where they had to go out and believe in the promises of God, rather than what the natural eye could see.
In the Scripture it tells us, “By faith Moses forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible “(Hebrews 11:27).
Moses was able to see not at the impossible situation he faced, but he kept his gaze on God, The Invisible! He left Egypt trusting that God would fulfill his promise, that he was true to his word.
We will face moments in the ministry where our journey will be one of faith, seeing nothing of what God promised us!
We must grow in the area of faith, we must be stretched when the pastors grow in faith, their churches grow in faith! We need giants in the faith. – Pastor Sonny Arguinzoni
Let us ask ourselves, what do we see today? We only see the problems, challenges, difficulties, etc. in the ministry. Sometimes this is all that is before us!
But faith tells us, look at the invisible, look at what the spiritual eyes see. Concentrate on the eternal, not temporary!
Today we can not fail in faith … There is a lot on the line. We must no let our faith fail, because we only seeing the temporal!
Faith is not required for what you see, faith is required for things which are not seen. On this day let us hear the word of Jesus, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed “(John 20:29).
We are blessed when we stand firm in our faith, seeing the Invisible. Hallelujah!
We must have faith in God’s provision … When we leave our place at other levels of faith, God promises to provide our needs and give us the resources we need so much …
God Himself already has Our Supply, The Milk And Honey!
When the Lord your God brings you into the land which he swore to thy fathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob to give you, great and goodly cities, which you did not build, and houses full of all good things which you did not fill, and cisterns dug that you did not dig, vineyards and olive groves you did not plant, and then you eat and are satisfied, Deuteronomy 6: 10-11 (NKJV)
It is a blessing to have the assurance that God always goes before us preparing the way, What a way where everything is already prepared for us!
So it was for the people of Israel, God promised them that they would possess all land only to inhabit it.
Joshua 24:13 tells us, “And I gave the land that nothing labored, and cities not build, and dwell in them; and vineyards and olive groves planted not do ye eat.
They came to a land of promise where everything was ready. All they had to do was take control of the land.
That manifestation of the greatness and faithfulness of God to the people of Israel.
God himself would be in charge of all his enemies to cast out of the land of promise,
Psalm 78:55, “cast out the nations before them; With ropes and divided them an inheritance by line, and made dwell in their tents the tribes of Israel. “
God did all this so that they could only come in and enjoy the many blessings promised land had for them. For the people of Israel they were able to see God’s promise fulfilled front of his eyes.
After so much desert, so much trial and tribulation, now was the time of fulfillment of all the promises of God for the people of Israel.
It was now that they just had to enjoy the prosperity of God on their lives! After the conquest, only he remained for them to possess all that God had promised them.
In the same way God reminds us today that he already paved the way before us, He will take care of us in the land flowing with milk and honey!
Joshua 24:13 (NKJV) – 13 And the land which I gave nothing labored, and cities which you built not, in which you dwell; and vineyards and olive groves planted not do ye eat.
There is no reason for fear or doubt when we serve a God who is good and generous to us.
Let us have faith and security of seeing God’s provision for our lives and ministries.
