Thoughts Of Devotion:
Today the Holy Spirit desires to take us to another level of glory and intimacy. Today is the precise moment in our lives to experience his glory in another level and stage. I ask myself if in reality, We understand this? We need to understand clearly that there are many levels of glory that we can experience. The glory revealed of Jesus is reserved only for those that walk in daily intimate communion with the Holy Spirit. What the Spirit desires to do in us is, take us to other levels of his presence! But for this to happen it is necessary to get out of our routine life and desire to live in a level more intimate and close with Jesus.
We achieve to see that the disciples of Jesus had to get out of the multitudes, to spend time alone with the Master. We read this in Mark 6:31, “And He said to them, “Come aside by yourselves to a deserted place and rest a while.” For there were many coming and going, and they did not even have time to eat.” There was so much labor and work that Jesus and his carrying out, that they didn’t even have time to eat sometimes! It is for this reason that we must always care to not lose the right perspective in the christian life. We can never be so busy, as to not spend intimate time with the Holy Spirit.
The Lord this morning makes the same invitation to us that he made to the disciples. The invitation to be able to leave behind our daily routine and go up to the glorious mountain where he desires to manifest his real and powerful presence. A place where we will see his glory in another level that is higher. When we do this what happened to Apostle Peter will happen to us as well, if we remain determined to live in intimacy with the Holy Spirit. That is what it tells us in Matthew 17:4, “Then Peter answered and said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here; if You wish, let us make here three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”
Romans 12:2 (NKJV) — 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
John 17:24 (NKJV) — 24 “Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.
Revelation 19:12-13 (NKJV) — 12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. 13 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.
Psalm 104:2 (NKJV) — 2 Who cover Yourself with light as with a garment, Who stretch out the heavens like a curtain.
Daniel 7:9 (NKJV) — 9 “I watched till thrones were put in place, And the Ancient of Days was seated; His garment was white as snow, And the hair of His head was like pure wool. His throne was a fiery flame,Its wheels a burning fire;
