Your Heavenly Father Gives You The Holy Spirit
Topic: It Is As Simple As Asking, God Will Give!
13 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”

Thoughts Of Devotion:
The Father is anxious to give us the Spirit; all we have to do is ask! It is as simple is that, it is not difficult, just ask and you will receive the promise of the Holy Spirit. In these previous verses we read, “So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 10 For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. 11 If a son asks for bread from any father among you, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent instead of a fish? 12 Or if he asks for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?” (Luke 11:9-12)
When one come before God and asks, one is humbling oneself and recognized that all good things come from God! Only he can grant us his precious Spirit. In James 1:17, “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.” When our faith and dependence is in Him we can ask with security and with all of our heart that he will pour out his Spirit without a limit over us! Without a doubt he will give us the best gift in the world, the gift of gifts, his Holy Spirit to abide and make a dwelling place in our hearts!
This morning what God desires to give us is his presence; the greatest gift from God is the presence of the Holy Spirit. Through his presence we will be transformed and we will transform the world that surrounds us! We will be men and women that will fulfill the mission of Jesus with the anointing and under the power of the Holy Spirit. The only requirement today is that we ask the Father, seek his face and we will be compensated in his presence. All we have to do to receive it this morning is to ask and he will give it to us, whoever asks, will receive it!

God is ready to give us the Holy Spirit all we need to do is ask. God is a almighty and he is a good father that give us what we ask for. All good and perfect gifts come from above. He wants to give us a great gift we just to do is ask.
