The Principles That Highlighted The Church Of The Book Of Acts

  1. The book of Acts gives us a model of a church that preached the Gospel with power and effectiveness. And daily in the temple, and in every house, they did not cease teaching and preaching Jesus as the Christ. Acts 5:42 (NKJV)

  2. The Church of the Book of Acts was a church that served God with a simplicity of heart. Their lives were filled with love, passion, and devotion to Jesus. So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, Acts 2:46 (NKJV)

  3. The church of the Book of Acts was a giving and generous church. Many of the believers had a liberal and grateful heart and gave from their possessions, supplying the needs that were presented. Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common,45 and sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone had need. Acts 2:44–45 (NKJV)

  4. The church of the Book of Acts was a church that possessed a divine strategy. Everything they did had success and fruit, the Gospel grew everywhere! As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, “Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.”Then, having fasted and prayed, and laid hands on them, they sent them  Acts 13:2–3 (NKJV)

  5. The church of the Acts was a church that multiplied disciples, they not only added but multiplied! Then the word of God spread, and the number of the disciples multiplied greatly in Jerusalem, and a great many of the priests were obedient to the faith. Acts 6:7 (NKJV)

  6. The church of the Book of Acts developed an effective plan of discipleship. It had its beginning in Jerusalem, and expanded throughout the world! Then the word of God spread, and the number of the disciples multiplied greatly in Jerusalem, and a great many of the priests were obedient to the faith. Acts 6:7 (NKJV)
