The Church On A Mission (Part 2)

The Spirit – The Mission – The Church

Topics From The Book of Acts

But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

Acts 1:8 (NKJV)

Daily Reading Plan

Ezra 3-6

Principles That Were Highlighted In The Book Of Acts

  1. We Are Called To Be A Triumphant, Victorious, Winning Church, A Church On A Mission, With The Great Commission. So the churches were strengthened in the faith, and increased in number daily. Acts 16:5 (NKJV)

  2. The Church Of The Book Of Acts Continually Faced A Spiritual Warfare Against The Enemy. There Was An Attack, An Assault Against Each One Of The Believers! But Paul, greatly annoyed, turned and said to the spirit, “I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her.” And he came out that very hour. Acta 16:18 (NKJV)

  3. The Church Of The Book Of Acts Demonstrated An Example Of A Triumphant, Victorious, Winning Church. There Wasn’t An Obstacle That Would Stop From Its Mission. No Barrier, Whether It Be National, Religious, Cultural, Or Racial Could Frustrate The Advance Of The Gospel. Then the churches throughout all Judea, Galilee, and Samaria had peace and were edified. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, they were multiplied. Acts 9:31 (NKJV)

  4. The Book Of Acts Gives Us A Testimony Of Lives That Were Transformed Radically. We See A Complete Transformation Of The Disciples Of Jesus, From Weak and Fearful Men To Men Filled With Power And Boldness. Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus. Acts 4:13 (NKJV)

  5. The Church of The Book Of Acts Was A Church That Was United. All Of The Believers Were Together, United, In One Accord, Completing The Mission Of Jesus. So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart. Acts 2:46 (NKJV)

  6. The Book Of Acts Teaches Us That As Time Went BY The Church Of Jerusalem Began To Launch And Send Disciples Outside Of The City. The Commission Of Discipleship Gave Its Beginnings In Jerusalem, But We See That It Extended Toward The Foreign, In Just A Short Period Of Time! As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, “Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.” Then, having fasted and prayed, and laid hands on them, they sent them Acts 13:2-3 (NKJV)
