Thoughts of Devotion:
Sometimes we think that God has forgotten us. We go through difficult times where the enemy lies, discourages us and wants us to stop believing that the best is yet to come this year. But God this morning reminds us once more that the He has not forgotten us! Isaiah 49:15 tells us, “Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you.” Thank God he never forgets us, we will always be in his mind! No matter what our emotions, or the enemy himself tells us.
Be assured that your blessing is on the way in 2016. God knows the appropriate moment and time to bring his blessing to your life. He will certainly bless you, never lose your faith and trust in Him. God has a very good memory and remembers the promise that He has made to your life. Everyone can forget, but God does not forget anything, His promise is eternal and secure! In 1 Chronicles 16:15 it tells us, “He remembers his covenant forever, the word he commanded to a thousand generations. Remember His covenant forever, The word which He commanded, for a thousand generations.” Your blessing is in His memory, rest assured that in time it will be fulfilled.
All you have to do is trust this morning, remain faithful and obedient, your perseverance at the end of the day will be rewarded! Just keep believing, keep crying out, keep advancing in the journey that God has set before you. In Exodus 2:24-25 it says, “So God heard their groaning, and God remembered His covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob. 25 And God looked upon the children of Israel, and God acknowledged them.” On this day the Lord hears your cries, your prayers are not in vain! In the midst of your pain and the difficult time you are going through, He is with you and will never leave you. Best days are in your future, God has not forgotten your blessing.
