Thoughts of Devotion:

This morning God is ready to do everything that He has promised to our lives. The best days of our lives are ahead of us! Days in which God will do wonders and miracles in our midst. In Exodus 15:11, it is declared, “Who is like You, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like You, glorious in holiness, Fearful in praises, doing wonders?” We can already feel the spiritual atmosphere and a powerful move of God in our midst. The Holy Spirit is positioning everything in place in preparation for the glorious things that are to come in our future.

Realizing this truth, the question is, are you ready to experience all that God has prepared for your future? The Holy Spirit is speaking to our lives, today we must be prepared and ready for everything God promised us in 2016. It is for this reason that Joshua had to declare this to the people and his warning was clear, consecrate yourselves, because tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you! We have to be spiritually ready, we should consecrate our lives, if we really want to see the best that is to come.

There is no time to waste, today is the day to separate ourselves and read His Word, fast and pray as we have never done before. We cannot loss the opportunity that lies before us. God’s time is now! God’s clock is already running, and all that remains is for us to prepare for the new day that is in front of us. It will only be through our consecration that we will be prepared to receive the move of God in our midst. Days are coming where we will witness miracles, wonders and a great outpouring of the Holy Spirit as we have never experienced never before. We must only position ourselves for all that is to come!

Foundational Scriptures:

Joshua 7:13 (NKJV) — 13 Get up, sanctify the people, and say, ‘Sanctify yourselves for tomorrow, because thus says the Lord God of Israel: “There is an accursed thing in your midst, O Israel; you cannot stand before your enemies until you take away the accursed thing from among you.”

Leviticus 10:3 (NKJV) — And Moses said to Aaron, “This is what the Lord spoke, saying: ‘By those who come near Me I must be regarded as holy; And before all the people I must be glorified.’” So Aaron held his peace.

Leviticus 20:8 (NKJV) — And you shall keep My statutes, and perform them: I am the Lord who sanctifies you.

Job 1:5 (NKJV) — So it was, when the days of feasting had run their course, that Job would send and sanctify them, and he would rise early in the morning and offer burnt offerings

according to the number of them all. For Job said, “It may be that my sons have sinned and cursed[a] God in their hearts.” Thus Job did regularly.

Joel 2:16 (NKJV) — 16 Gather the people, Sanctify the congregation, Assemble the elders, Gather the children and nursing babes; Let the bridegroom go out from his chamber, And the bride from her dressing room.

John 17:19 (NKJV) — 19 And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth.

Psalm 114:7 (NKJV) — Tremble, O earth, at the presence of the Lord, At the presence of the God of Jacob,

Joshua 3:13 (NKJV) — 13 And it shall come to pass, as soon as the soles of the feet of the priests who bear the ark of the Lord, the Lord of all the earth, shall rest in the waters of the Jordan, that the waters of the Jordan shall be cut off, the waters that come down from upstream, and they shall stand as a heap.”
