What a blessing and privilege to be part of the Lord’s people today. God calls us, my people, a special people that bears his name. 100:3 Psalm invites us to “spy out that the Lord is God made us, and not we ourselves are His people and the sheep of his pasture.” Recognizing that we are the people of God extends an invitation to approach and humble in his presence. He wants to reveal Himself to us in a unique and special way. But He requires for us to come before His presence acknowledging how much we need Him.
The Lord in this morning not only calls us to a general call for prayer, but more than that, He invites us to diligently seek His face. He wants us to seek His face continually. In 1 Chronicles 16:11 tells us, “Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually.” To seek his face is something you can do through prayer and those valuable moments of time we spend alone with Him. Moments where we is able to humble ourselves before an Almighty God and seek his face continually. This is where we find him and enjoy his sweet presence!
Have you been seeking His face lately? I invite you to do so today. When we determine ourselves to do it, it will surely take a deep inexhaustible diligence and passion to seek his face in prayer. As Jeremiah 29:13 says, “And you will seek Me and find Me, when you seek me with all your heart.” Today we should seek God with all our heart! He desires to manifest His glory and presence as a result of us seeking His face continually. His promise is that He vows to forgive our sins and heal our land. Pray that we may seek His face and enjoy His undoubted and secure promise.

If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever.
