Have you ever gone through a time like that in your life? Have you ever thought, is it possible that I may being going through this situation? These are the moments where it seems that there will be no solution for our problem. It’s times like these that we must be reminded that God is our helper! He will be the only one who can help us through our dilemma.
The Psalms declare that we can always trust that God will be our help, our trust will be well founded in Him God’s foundation is firm and secure! There is no better trust we can have, other than God! When we learn to depend on Him, things will get better in time. Sometimes this will take time, it does not happen from one moment to another, but our trust in Him to take us to see the fulfillment of His promise. He promised to be our help, then we can trust His Word. We have no need to search elsewhere for help that God has already offered us.
Today, we can trust the promise that He has made, “The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me? The Lord is for me among those who help me; Therefore I shall see my desire on those who hate me.”(Psalm 118:6-7). Be confident in these words! We will not be moved from God’s promises by anything or anyone. We should not fear what man can do to us, God is with us, who is against us? Receive these words of comfort that God speaks to us this morning. Today the Lord is ready to help when we implore for His help and assistance.
