Thoughts Of Devotion:
The Bible teaches us the importance of placing our faith in action to be able to see Gods provision in our lives. It is only when we place the Word of God in action that we will see the result, a supernatural provision! Hebrews 11:6 tells us, “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” If we truly desire to see what God has for us, to see him meet everyone of our needs, the key is to act in faith on his promise!
Isaac made a decision to sow in the land where God had indicated. Even though rational thinking indicated that no seed would give fruit, given the drought that was upon that place. But Isaac sowed in obedience, without doubting. He decided to obey God, instead of being paralyzed before the circumstances that surrounded him. Isaac recognized that the seed that God had placed in his hands was to sow, not to eat! As 2 Corinthians 9:10 declares, “Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness.”
What a blessing to serve a God that multiplies our seed! He will always be faithful to his promise, when we make the decision to act in faith, the results will be supernatural. Now is the time to take God by his Word, it is no time to doubt! The harvest is coming, this is the time to experience Gods supernatural harvest in our lives. Gods promise in Psalms 37:19 declares to us, “They shall not be ashamed in the evil time, And in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.”
2 Corinthians 9:10 (NKJV) — 10 Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness.
Isaiah 55:10 (NKJV) — 10 For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, And do not return there, But water the earth, And make it bring forth and bud, That it may give seed to the sower And bread to the eater,
Hosea 10:12 (NKJV) — 12 Sow for yourselves righteousness; Reap in mercy; Break up your fallow ground, For it is time to seek the Lord, Till He comes and rains righteousness on you.
1 Thessalonians 3:12 (NKJV) — 12 And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love to one another and to all, just as we do to you,
