Devotional Thought:

Nothing compares to the supernatural strength that God gives His people. Psalm 68:35 tells us, “O God, You are more awesome than Your holy places. The God of Israel is He who gives strength and power to His people. Blessed be God!” In times when we feel weak and lack strength in our lives, God promises to give us new strength! When we get tired and can not walk anymore, it is good to know that God does not leave us or forsake us. He promises to multiply our strength, even when we have none!

In this life we will certainly have times of exhaustion, weariness, and fatigue. It’s in these times when it is important to understand that God has given us the key to receiving supernatural strenght. Scripture teaches us that the key is waiting on God! It is only when we wait on God that our spiritual strength is restored. This is clearly what God promises us in Psalm 103:5 “Who satisfies your mouth with good so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s”, Thank God there is a way in which we can renew our strength and be rejuvenated in the Lord.

I ask myself, where would we without the Lord’s strength? I’m sure we would not have the power, or the strength to carry on in this life. Psalm 27:13 tells us, “I would have lost heart, unless I had believed That I would see the goodness of the LORD In the land of the living.” It’s only His power and strength that renews us as the eagle! Only when all hope is in God and we are still in His presence that we will see His supernatural work in us. Today I encourage you to not give up, to not go back and abandon this spiritual race. God wants to fill you with his strength, just seek His presence and wait on Him.
