Devotional Thought:

In this portion of Scripture we come to see how the glory of God filled the sanctuary , as the people raised their voice in praise and worship. We read in this same chapter that “when the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord, and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the Lord, saying: “For He is good, For His mercy endures forever,” that the house, the house of the Lord, was filled with a cloud” ( v.13 ). What a beautiful image, to see the people worshiping The Lord, and as a result the temple filled with His presence and His great glory.

Clearly we see the great power that exists when we praise and glorify God. His glory fills our lives! It is for this reason that the Bible exhorts and encourages us to always offer unto God a sacrifice of praise, “So, let us continually offer to God, through him, sacrifice of praise-the fruit of lips that confess his name” (Hebrews 13:15). We can be sure that the presence and glory of God will always come upon our lives when we praise Him. His glory cloud will manifest over our lives when we praise Him!

Let us pray on this day that we might become those worshipers to experience the glory of God in our lives . Our worship is the key to see the presence of God manifested! Today, God is seeking these worshipers, “But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeks such to worship him” ( John 4:23 ). I wonder, will we be an instrument to bring the glory of God to earth? God, without a doubt calls us on this day to experience His presence. Let us praise and exalt his name!
