Whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.

2 Chronicles 34-36
2 Corinthians 4:4 (NLT) — Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don’t understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God.
2 Corinthians 4:4 (MSG) — They’re stone-blind to the dayspring brightness of the Message that shines with Christ, who gives us the best picture of God we’ll ever get.
2 Corinthians 4:4 (NIV) — The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
Today we can discern that the enemy’s activity is present in the lives of those who do not know the gospel. The Bible shows us how the devil blinds the minds of them, which are non-believers to not believe the truth of the gospel. Being the god of this world, he tries his best to avoid mankind from coming to know the Good News found in Jesus Christ. All humanity without Christ is bound with lies and deceit in which they are prisoners and are unable to escape this situation on their own. The enemy imprisons them! His plan is to steal the seed of The Gospel that you sow according to Matthew 13:19, “When anyone hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart.”
Under these conditions, what hope is there for those who are lost and blinded by the enemy himself? How is it that their blindness is removed? The Bible tells how, in 2 Corinthians 4:6 tells us, “For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. ” We understand that only the light of the gospel will break the chains of all humanity that is without Christ. It is through the power of preaching the scales fall from their eyes and the light of Jesus shines in their darkness.
Today we are the vessels that God uses so the light of the gospel will reach the hearts of those in darkness. I wonder how this will happen if we don’t intervene? It is important to first recognize that the enemy is active doing everything in his power to make people abide in darkness. In 2 Corinthians 2:11 we are warned, “Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.” As believers we have a responsibility to carry and show the light of the gospel to the lost humanity in trespasses and sins. If we do not, who will! Be determined today to make a difference, let us pray that we be those rescue those who are still blinded by the enemy.
