Thoughts of Devotion:
The Holy Spirit desires to have a more intimate and personal relationship with each one of us. If we pay attention to his voice we could hear him say, come and spend time with me! Revelations 3:20 tells us,” Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.” What most personal and intimate invitation made by the Holy Spirit today. His intimate relationship is at reach for all of us. If only we would respond to the call He makes, our life would be so different.
We would experience a complete transformation in ourselves. We would be transformed while being in communion with the Holy Spirit. A complete and radical transformation! People around us would observe another person in us, a person more in the image of Christ. Why is it impossible to have communion with the Holy Spirit and remain the same, becuase his presence has power to transform lives. 2 Corinthians 3:18 (NKJV) tells us, “But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.”
The first step to experience another level in our walk with the Lord, is intimacy with Holy Spirit! There are things that won’t take place in our lives, until we make spending quality time alone with Him a priority. Let’s take the challenge to know him daily, to enter a place where his communion would be something that we are able to get to know day to day. Psalms 25:14 tells us, “The secret of the Lord is with those who fear Him, And He will show them His covenant.” Let’s pray that we are able to take the challenge to know God, that we would respond to the invitation that the Holy Spirit extends to all of us!
